PUPPY CLASS

This positive reward based class is specially designed for the learning needs of puppies up to 9 months of age. Puppy class focuses exclusively on puppy issues and your puppy's individual development in this critical stage. You'll learn how to solve and prevent puppy behavior problems and how to teach your dog "sit," "down," "come," walking on leash, and "stay." Overall, we'll help you learn how to shape your puppy into a happy, confident, mature adult dog.  

REACTIVE DOG CLASS

Reactive Dog Class: Reactive dogs are the dogs that have human or animal aggression. These dogs may have fear issues or other sound or stimuli challenges. These aggressive displays may occur on or off leash, behind barriers (fences, in the car, etc.). If your dog displays signs of aggression like barking, growling, lunging, or hair up towards other dogs or people then this is the class for you.

We will go over various tools and training techniques then apply the methods best suited for you and your dog. It's the start of better adjusted dog.

SATURDAY MORNING & EVENING SOCIALS

Socials are an opportunity for all owners to socialize their dogs of all ages. Supervised socialization is the best way to improve your dogs social skills and response to other dogs. All dogs drag leashes during this controlled loose dog interaction class with narration on dog communication, body language and interaction.  Small dogs and puppies are VERY welcome, but will separate if necessary.  Drag leash and flat collar required.

LOOSE LEASH WALKING

This class is designed to give owners the foundation to help achieve the goal of many pet owners to have their dog “walk better on a leash”.   Starting with an explanation of the theory, followed by foundation exercises and finishing with walking around distractions, the class allows for each dog to be taught individually.

CONSTRUCTIVE TUG

Does your dog like to tug?  Some dogs really enjoy a good game of tug, while other dogs require it as a step in the process to help with behavior issues like aggression, separation anxiety, destructive chewing and chasing cars, bikes and other moving things.   This class is designed to teach you how to tug with your dog appropriately to give an outlet for his innate drives and energy.  Starting with tug toy options and selection, basic theory and moving right into some fun tugging action.

CONTINUING OBEDIENCE

Designed for existing clients who have had in home, in kennel or previous basic classes, this class is an opportunity to get some supervised socialization in while working on your obedience training in the presence of other dogs.  Stationary and motion exercises are performed during this class held at the kennel or public places.
